Thank you for joining us to check out the new Proof experience. With this latest release, we’ve made significant upgrades in three areas:

  1. We’ve built a unified experience when working with multiple servers. All attempts, chats, and affidavits are consolidated in one dashboard, providing a comprehensive record of activity in one place.

  2. We added transparency to timelines with transparent and predictable status updates. This way, you always know what’s happening on the serve and when to expect the next steps.

  3. Incorporated tools to prevent serves from stalling, like address intelligence and bad address automations.

Together, these changes bring you unparalleled transparency and efficiency in the service of process. Let’s dive in and see how it works.

The all-new look of the Proof platform is designed to streamline the experience, particularly when a serve requires multiple process servers, additional attempts, or even multiple addresses or affidavits. Please take a moment to view the walkthrough above or continue below to see how the new platform operates.

Below is an example of the old Proof view in comparison to the all-new view:

The Old View

The New View

The new design incorporates a Serve ID (i.e., SRV-PSPR0YY) that houses a collection of Proof serves in one place. If you use the search function on the Proof platform with the relevant Serve ID, it will display all relevant serve details across all attempts and chats that have taken place.

Sidebar: The new sidebar on the left-hand side is collapsible, giving more space for those with smaller screens.

The all-new Serves table, located under the Serves section of the sidebar, gives you clear serve-level visibility and simplified tracking. For more information, please visit the article below on accessing and using the Serves table:

Creating a New Serve with Address Intelligence

When creating a new serve, Proof will automatically scan the address you provide for potential issues. You can review this article with more on the verification process during the serve creation process:

With address intelligence, we run checks against robust address databases Proof has access to, and we find that ~20% of first attempts end in a bad address. This new improvement will help you avoid bad attempts proactively, saving time and money, and it is completely free.

In this example of serve creation, we identified a missing unit number and flagged it before the serve began. This allows you to make any adjustments before submitting the serve for service.

Chat

🏆 Key benefit: You can now see all messages across all re-dispatched servers in one place. You can continue to access chat on a re-dispatched serve with an affidavit (i.e., pending notary status).

  • The new Chat tab begins with an Active chat. Here, all current service-related conversation takes place. The current server’s messages are placed here, and similar to iMessage, each thread is a group chat between you, the Process Server, and the Proof Specialist.

  • Past tab: Once a serve is re-dispatched, chats from prior servers are placed in a new tab called Past.

Serve History Button: When a serve is re-dispatched to a new server, you can visually see all chats across all serves from all servers chronologically, along with key events like attempts and more.

Attempts

  • All attempts across all re-dispatched serves will be displayed in chronological order.

  • Each attempt will have a title “Attempt [Number] by [Process Server]” followed by the address where the attempt was made and the outcome of the attempt.

Clicking on an attempt collapses/expands the details

Address

The address widget provides a single, organized view of all addresses associated with the Serve ID across all serves. You can directly approve, reject, or edit addresses without waiting for confirmation by Proof.

We’ve changed the label name from Primary to “Active”. Every serve can only have one Active address. It’s where attempts are currently being made. For more information on address labels and what their statuses mean, please refer to the article below:

Serve Tracker

On the serve details page, you will now see a serve tracker. The serve tracker communicates progress throughout the lifecycle of a serve and provides a color that represents the health status of the service.

During the timeline of a service, there may be moments when action is required or an update is needed. These will be coordinated by a specific color that visually represents what is taking place: 🟢 🟠 🔴 🔵

Below, we delve deeper into these health statuses to help you better understand the serve progress throughout its lifecycle.

On Track 🟢

This means that the service is underway and in progress. For example, these could be situations where the server is making the necessary attempts within the service speed window, or the affidavit is in the certification process. The examples below show what it means for the health status to be on track:

Behind Schedule 🟠

There may be times when a service is taking longer than usual. Proof will follow up with the assigned server to ensure service requirements are met. You can use the chat feature for updates, or you can reach out to support@proofserve.com if you have any questions.

Under Review/Paused 🟠

Here are some examples where a serve may be under review or paused. There will be a clear description or expectation for the next steps. If you have any questions about these health statuses, you can use the chat function or contact support@proofserve.com for more help.

Action Required/Canceled 🔴

If the health status displays a red color and action is required, the steps within the status will prompt you for input. Selecting one of the options in the Action required section will resolve the necessary request and move the service forward. You can use the chat feature if you have any questions about the action options. Alternatively, you can contact the Support Team at support@proofserve.com if you have any more questions.

For serves that are canceled, here is an example of how that may look:

If you have any questions regarding the service expectations for any Proof serve, please refer to and click on the link below:

Sometimes, a bad address is unavoidable. For serves where 🔴 Action Required appears as the health status, our address intelligence will keep things moving should it be identified that the action required is from a bad address.

You'll see four prompts that serve as Quick Actions that can be selected for next steps:

  • Approve the suggested address

  • Provide a new address

  • Continue with an additional round of attempts to serve the active address

  • Close out the serve, and obtain an Affidavit of non-service

In just one click, you can decide how to move forward with the serve, and keep the serve moving. The address intelligence automates actions that provide proactive prevention and instant recovery, ensuring every serve, keeps moving without delays.

Call-outs

Above the Serve Tracker, a call-out may appear, presented in a yellow box. These are quick messages that alert you to provide context should there be any potential risks or changes to the service being attempted. Here is an example of how it may appear:

These call-outs help set expectations proactively and will resolve themselves throughout the lifecycle of the service. If you have any questions or concerns about a call-out that may appear on your screen, please feel free to chat or reach out to the Support Team for additional details.

Affidavits

Within the new Affidavit tab, all affidavits for the serve will be housed here, including affidavits of non-service. If multiple servers worked on the same serve and generated multiple affidavits, they will all appear on this tab.

Upon reviewing your available affidavits, if you have any questions or if you need to make any amendments, please review the article below to get assistance:

We are thrilled about this new look for Proof, and we hope you are as well. If you need any support navigating the Proof platform with these changes, please do not hesitate to reach out to support@proofserve.com, and we would be glad to assist you further!
