Creating serves on the Proof platform is easier than ever. Instead of typing serve details manually, you can now upload your documents and let Proof Autofill fill in the details of your serve request for youโ€”saving you time with every serve.

New to Proof? Quickly create your account and then hop to step 1 below, or log into your existing account.

Step 1: Upload Documents ๐Ÿ“„

To get started, page one:

  • Click on the button labeled "New Serve". This will direct you to the page where you can easily upload your documents.

  • You have two options for uploading your documents: you can simply click to upload them or easily drag and drop them. Just a friendly reminder: If you choose to drag the documents, please make sure to give them enough time to upload fully before adding the next one. This will ensure a smooth and successful upload process.

  • After the documents have been uploaded, click on the "Next" button. The platform will then commence analyzing the documents to automatically populate all necessary information. This process may vary in duration, depending on the quantity and size of the documents involved.

Step 2: Review Defendants ๐Ÿ”

On page two, you may:

  • Review the populated servee name.

  • If the system fails to populate a name, you may manually add the servee's name by clicking "Add Servee."

  • A pop-up box will be displayed, providing a designated field for the input of the servee's name.

Please Note: If there is more than one service going to the same address, click below for the steps for linking jobs.

Step 3: Servee and Court Details โ„น๏ธ

On page three, you can:

  • Choose the "Servee Type," indicating whether it's an individual or a business entity.

  • Enter the full name of the individual or business entity to be served. If the selection for business has been made, you will have the opportunity to designate a Registered Agent who will act as the authorized recipient of legal documents on behalf of the business and will be the individual we will serve.

  • Begin typing the address, and it will populate automatically. You can also click "Set Address Manually" to enter the address details for service.

  • Choose the documents that are to be served.

  • Choose the designated court state or, if applicable, provide a court date.

Click below to access the steps for selecting the "Servee Type."

Step 4: Serve Speed and Add-ons ๐Ÿš—

When you get to page four, you will:

  • Select the appropriate service speed in which you would like the documents to be served.

  • Select an optional "Add-On" feature. You can display these by clicking on the "Add-Ons" dropdown.

* Please be advised that pricing and service speed options may vary depending on the location. To obtain a quote, click here.

Step 5: Specifications and Payment ๐Ÿ’ณ

On this final step, page five, you will:

  • Enter your payment details. Payment can be made using a debit card or through ACH.

  • Enter an "Invoice Reference Number" (AKA client billing number).

  • Apply any "Job Specifications," which are custom preferences.

  • Or provide any optional "Additional Notes" for the assigned specialist and process server.

  • Once all required information has been entered and all steps have been correctly completed, the job can be submitted on this final page!

Adding Extra Job Details โž•

After the submission of the job, a pop-up box will appear, providing you with the option to:

  • "Share job updates with your team" by adding another user to the job so that they may also receive job updates and notifications.

  • "Add Photos or a Description of your servee(s)." Here, you can include a photograph and a physical depiction of the servee. The images must be in JPG or PNG format.

  • "Customize Document Names on the Affidavit." The labeling of the documents will determine their appearance on the affidavit. Here, you can modify the labeling to ensure their listing is accurate.

If you are currently unable to provide additional details, you may select the option labeled "I'll Finish Later" and revisit the task through your account portal. However, if you "X" out of the box, you will be unable to retrieve it.
