Proof does offer a Remote Online Notary (RON) option for documents originating in court states where RON is allowed.

Scheduling an Appointment

Using our vendor, Blue Notary, you will have the ability to schedule an appointment with a Proof Remote Online Notary. Once you have scheduled your appointment your name will appear on the dashboard for a follow-up from a Proof RON.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Request a Free Notary Session

  1. Please go to: https://bluenotary.us/s/bnproofserve35 to schedule an appointment.

  2. Upload your affidavits/documents and select “Notarize Now” or “Schedule a time” from the drop-down menu.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and mark the checkbox stating, “I Confirm the uploaded documents are not already signed” and select “Continue”

  4. Enter your personal details: Name, Date of Birth, Last Four of your SSN, and your address.

  5. To verify your identity, you will be asked 5 personal questions and be required to upload a copy of an acceptable photo ID.

  6. Select the “Meet Notary” option to connect with a Proof remote notary.

If you schedule a time and a notary does not appear, please leave the session and a

Proof notary will contact you via email or text to reschedule and complete the session.


Proof Prepared Session

If a Notary session has already been prepared for you, please confirm via email if you would like to accept the invitation. Include a preferred time for you, and a notary will follow up with you to finalize the connection. Your documents will be uploaded to the session for your convenience. Step-by-Step Instructions to Confirm Your Free Notary Session

  1. You will receive an email invite from Blue Notary (Blue Notary is our vendor you will connect with a Proof RON)

  2. A Proof online notary will contact you to connect to the session based on availability.

  3. When you are ready to start the notary session you will go to the email invite sent from Blue Notary and select "Get Started"

  4. Select “Join Video Session” and then select “Start Video”.

  5. You will enter your personal details: Name, Date of Birth, Last Four of SS# and your address to confirm your identity.

  6. To verify your identity, you will be asked 5 personal questions and be required to upload a copy of acceptable identification- (photo ID, passport, Driver’s License

  7. Select the “Meet Notary” option to connect with a Proof remote online notary

Additional Information

  • You will sign the affidavit(s)/document(s) electronically.

  • During the session, the Notary will review your Proof account and add all pending affidavits ready for notarization.

  • The Notarized Affidavit will be uploaded to the job in your Proof account as a courtesy from the Proof RON. From there, the job will go into review, get closed out, and generate your payment.

  • You also have access to the notarized affidavit to upload it to your account if needed.

  • You will receive a copy of the notarized affidavit for your records via-email from Blue Notary after the session is complete.


Friendly Reminders

  • If the Proof RON does not appear at the scheduled time, please leave the session and they will contact you to reschedule.

  • We operate across various time zones. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your session and anticipating follow-ups from a Proof Notary. If you have a preferred time of day, kindly specify it in an email to the Proof Notary. (Sessions are currently scheduled in Mountain Time - MTN)
