The In-App Scanner allows servers to quickly and securely upload Wet Ink and Notary affidavits directly within the Proof mobile app. This tool helps ensure high-quality affidavit submissions without the need for third-party scanning apps.

The In-App Scanner replaces the need to manually scan and upload affidavits using external tools. When used, the app automatically reconstructs the affidavit using the high-quality, color attempt photos already attached to the job β€” eliminating the need to upload exhibit photos separately.

This process produces:

  • Clear, full-color affidavits for clients

  • Faster, cleaner uploads

  • Fewer resubmissions or errors due to poor scan quality


βš™οΈ How to Use the In-App Scanner

  1. Open a job that requires a Wet Ink, Notary, or Wet Ink Notary affidavit.

  2. Tap Upload Affidavit at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select Scan Document when prompted.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to photograph or scan each page.

    • The app will display the required number of pages at the top of the screen.

    • Use the scanner tools to manipulate your document. There are options for:

      • Filters - used to correct lighting/visibility

      • Flatten (recommended) - used to make any bent or folded documents appear flat

      • Cropping Tool - used to remove and backgrounds or photo edges

      • Rotate Image - used to flip images to the correct orientation

  5. Review your pages and submit once complete.

The affidavit will automatically rebuild with the corresponding color attempt photos attached.
