Proof mobile app version 7.1 brings key improvements to the Attempt Checklist and several state-specific workflows to help make every serve smoother and more accurate.
Excited for the new Bulk Affidavits certification flow? So are we!
Now, you can certify multiple electronic affidavits in one streamlined sequence—no more jumping in and out of individual jobs.
Below, you’ll find everything else included in this release.
✅ Multi-Select for Attempt Observations
You can now select multiple observations during an attempt using the checklist dropdown. The app will automatically update the attempt description to reflect your selections, helping reduce typing and improve consistency.
📥 Registered Agent Flow Enhancements
We’ve simplified and improved the checklist flow when you’re serving a Registered Agent or Entity address:
New Delivery Method Option:
A new Drop-box/Bin method is now available under "How were the documents served?"
Only appears on Registered Agent & Entity address types
Removes the physical description fields
Automatically maps to the correct affidavit service type
Registered Agent Name Dropdown:
Commonly used companies are now built into the checklist to save time:
CT Corp
CSC
Secretary of State
Other is also available for less common entries
📃 Simplified Flows for Colorado & Minnesota Hybrid Jobs
We’ve introduced a streamlined checklist for hybrid service types in CO and MN:
When logging an attempt, you’ll now see a simplified prompt such as:
“Did anyone answer the door?”
If no one answers, the system generates a pre-filled attempt description like:
“No answer at the door. Documents were not posted.”
When switching to a Posting service type (after two diligent attempts), the app will generate a compliant affidavit-friendly message:
“After two diligent attempts at personal service were unsuccessful, the documents were posted to the front door in accordance with applicable state and local laws.”
⚖️ Florida Affidavit Language Updates
Florida jobs now include a new checklist question to confirm whether the defendant is in military service. This ensures the final affidavit automatically includes the required legal language for both service types:
Personal Service
I served the documents to the within named individual pursuant to F.S. 48.031(1)(a). Based on the conversation with the person accepting service, the defendant/respondent is not in the Military Service of the United States of America.
Substitute Service
I served and explained the contents therein to a permanent co-resident 15 years of age or older pursuant to F.S. 48.031(1)(a). Based on the conversation with the person accepting service, the defendant/respondent is not in the Military Service of the United States of America.
🐛 Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements
We’ve addressed a few targeted issues in this release to improve stability and ensure a smoother experience when logging attempts.
Bug Fixes Include:
App crashing when logging attempts: Resolved an intermittent issue that caused the app to close unexpectedly when some users tried to add a new attempt.
Servee relation input error: Fixed a bug where the “Relation to Servee” field incorrectly became a text input instead of a dropdown on certain entity-type serves.
