Please keep in mind Proof’s client’s expectations when accepting serves:

Attempt Timelines

Proof's serve speed are as follows:

  • Standard Service - 4 attempts distributed over 10 days

  • Expedited Service - 4 attempts distributed over 3 days

  • Same Day Service - 4 attempts distributed over 24 hours

  • Postings - Documents placed on door within 2 days

Our clients expect that attempts to serve begin within 72 hours for Standard serves, or within 24 hours for Expedited and Same Day serves. You can always reach out via email to Proof's assigned Specialist or our Server Support Team for assistance.

Attempt Photos

Photos of the servee are not strictly required by Proof, however, clients may expect or request photos to be taken if this is able to be done safely. Photos provided do not necessarily need to be of the subject themselves, but photos of the location, building, vehicle tags, etc. can be very helpful as they provide valuable information to the client that has requested the service.

Attempt Notes

When leaving attempt notes, please make them as clear and detailed as possible per our client's expectations. For example, instead of "no answer" for an unsuccessful attempt, you might say "I attempted service by knocking loudly on the door. A dog barked, but no one answered. A car was in the driveway with Colorado license plate ABC123."
