Updated this week

This update includes improvements to attempt photos, new pronoun settings, and bug fixes to make the Proof App more stable and reliable.

Edit Profile: Add Your Pronouns

You can now select and display your preferred pronouns in your profile. Once set, these will be visible to both Proof and the Client.

Expanded NY Court State Physical Descriptions

To align with updated regulations, we’ve expanded race and gender options on successful attempt forms. Gender now includes Non-Binary, Transgender, and Intersex, while both fields support a manual input option.

Improved Attempt Photo Quality

We’ve updated image formatting and compression to enhance the clarity of attempt photos, making key details—such as posted documents and license plate tags—more readable and visible. These improvements contribute to higher-quality evidence on the final affidavit sent to the client.

Bug Fixes

Fixed Affidavit Upload Errors

Some users were unable to upload signed or notarized affidavits due to file name restrictions that caused errors. We’ve updated the system to automatically remove invalid characters so affidavits can be uploaded without issues.

Job Offer Component Stability Update

We resolved an issue that caused the app to crash in some cases when viewing job offers. This update improves the overall reliability of the job offer system, preventing unexpected errors when accepting or reviewing offers.

iOS Job Offer Display Fix

Job offers on iOS were appearing with a gray background, making them difficult to read. This visual issue has now been resolved, ensuring job details are clearly visible.

Android 12 & Older: Fixed Attempt Photo Saving

Older Android devices (Android 12 and earlier) were modifying the image format when uploading attempt photos, causing submission errors. We’ve corrected this issue so that photos upload properly across all supported devices.

Android: Location Permission Fix

Some Android devices were not prompting users for location permissions, which prevented the Explore tab from loading properly. We’ve fixed this, so the app now correctly requests location access when needed.

Notification Hub Loading Issue Fixed

Some users experienced issues where the Notification Hub failed to load, preventing access to notification history. This issue has been resolved, restoring full functionality.
