Keeping your device software and the Proof app up to date is key to ensuring smooth performance, avoiding bugs, and staying compatible with new features.
If you're experiencing technical issues, we recommend starting with the steps below to confirm you're running the latest versions.
๐ For iPhone (iOS) Users
โ Check for iOS Software Updates:
Open your deviceโs Settings
Tap General
Select Software Update
If an update is available, follow the prompts to Download and Install
Your phone will automatically check for the latest iOS version.
โ Check for App Updates:
Open the App Store
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner
Scroll down to view pending updates
Tap Update All or Update next to the Proof app
๐ Enable Automatic App Updates:
Go to Settings
Scroll down and tap App Store
Under Automatic Downloads, toggle on App Updates
This ensures your apps stay updated without needing manual checks.
๐ค For Android Users
โ Check for Android Software Updates:
Open the Settings app
Tap Software Update or System (depending on your device)
Tap Check for Update
If available, follow the prompts to download and install
โ Check for App Updates:
Open the Google Play Store
Tap the menu icon (three lines) or your profile picture
Tap My apps & games
Under the Updates tab, tap Update All or Update next to the Proof app
๐ Enable Automatic App Updates:
Open the Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon
Go to Settings > Network Preferences > Auto-update apps
Choose:
Over any network, or
Over Wi-Fi only
This ensures your apps update automatically in the background.
