Before contacting support, try these steps to clear space, reset the app, and get back on track.
📱 General Troubleshooting Tips
Free up as much storage on your phone as possible
Ensure your location and notification settings are enabled (for accurate tracking and alerts)
Follow the platform-specific steps below to clear app cache and reset the app
🍎 For iOS Devices
Open your device’s Settings
Tap General
Select iPhone Storage
Scroll down and tap the Proof app
You’ll see two options:
Offload App — Frees up storage by removing app data while keeping your settings
Delete App — Completely removes the app and all stored data
✅ To clear cache but retain settings, tap Offload App, then confirm
❌ To fully reset the app, tap Delete App, then reinstall from the App Store
🤖 For Android Devices
Open your device’s Settings
Scroll down and select Apps
Tap See all apps, then choose Proof
Tap Storage and cache
Select:
Clear cache — Removes temporary files
Clear storage — Resets the app and clears all data
🔄 After clearing storage, reinstall the Proof app from Google Play to complete the reset
