At Proof, our primary task is to offer a state-of-the-art technological service to elevate the service-of-process experience.

Occasionally, the question arises about domesticating a foreign (out-of-state) subpoena. Depending on the court addressing the request, the domestication process can take hours, days, or weeks. Since this is a nonstandardized process and location-dependent, Proof does not offer domestication of subpoena services.

However, if the foreign subpoena has been domesticated and now needs to be served, it may be easily uploaded to our platform.

Pro Tip: If you have any concerns about serving an out-of-state subpoena, please contact the Clerk of Court in the originating court. The Clerk can provide valuable information about the proper service of an out-of-state document.
