To use Proof, you must add a payment method to your account before submitting a job for service. You may enter a credit card or an ACH account. There are a couple of ways to add a payment method, and you can update or change an existing one. π
Please note that for a credit card, you will be charged upon completion of each serve job. For an ACH Account, you are billed once a month for the jobs completed the previous month.

During the job creation process for your first serve, if you have not already put in any payment information, you will be prompted to add a payment method before submitting the job for service.Β

At least one payment method must be on file to submit jobs on the Proof platform.

1. Log in to app.proofserve.com
2. Click on the "Billing" π³ menu item on the left navigation bar.
3. Click on the "Payment Methods" tab to the right.
4. Click on the yellow "Add Payment Method" button on the right.
Once you click on "Add Payment Method" please be sure to give the Payment Method Label a name.

You can enable it as the primary card, which is especially helpful if you add multiple cards for payment methods. The primary card will be the default payment option unless a different card is selected during job creation.

If you have a law firm account, you can enable or disable the payment method being shared with others in the firm. When this option is enabled, other firm members can use the shared method instead of adding a payment method to their individual firm account.

These steps will mirror the same steps of adding a new payment method with a small adjustment:

1. Log in to app.proofserve.com
2. Click on the "Billing" π³ menu item on the left navigation bar.
3. Click on the "Payment Methods" tab to the right.
4. Click on the yellow "Add Payment Method" button on the right.
5. Once added, the old payment method can be deleted by clicking on the "three vertical dots" next to the payment method.
At least one payment method must be on file with the Proof platform. If you wish to remove any extra or outdated payment methods, you can click on the "three vertical dots" from the step above and select Delete to remove it.
