Recording attempts across Linked Jobs

Written by Julia Leake

When two or more jobs are linked (occurring at the same address), you can save time by recording an attempt across all linked jobs in one step.

🗂 Step 1: Confirm the Parent Job

Before logging an attempt, make sure you have the Parent Job selected.

  • You can confirm this by tapping the Linked Jobs icon under the servee’s name on the Job Details screen.

✏️ Step 2: Record the Attempt

When adding your attempt, you’ll see the question:

“Do you want to record this attempt on all linked jobs?”

  • Select Yes to apply the attempt to all linked jobs.

⚠️ Important Guidelines

If you are recording a successful attempt across linked jobs, all job details must match exactly — including the servee, serve type, and circumstances.

For example:

  • Same serve type: Both are personal service to the same individual → Record once across all linked jobs.

  • Different serve types: One personal service and one substitute service → Record separately for accuracy.

By following these steps, you can streamline your workflow while ensuring that all records remain accurate and compliant.
