We’re excited to share the latest Proof mobile app update (v7.3.0), featuring the In-App Scanner — designed to make submitting Wet Ink and Notary affidavits faster, simpler, and more reliable.
📄 Scan and Upload Directly in the Proof App
Servers handling Wet Ink, Notary, or Wet Ink Notary affidavits can now scan and upload documents directly in the Proof mobile app — no third-party scanning tools required.
When you open a qualifying job and select Upload Affidavit, the app will now give you the option to scan the document directly from the job.
🖼 No More Exhibit Uploads Required
When using the In-App Scanner, you no longer need to include exhibit photos. The platform automatically reconstructs the affidavit using the high-quality, color attempt photos already attached to your job.
This ensures:
Clearer, full-color affidavits for clients
Faster uploads and fewer steps for servers
Fewer edits and re-done uploads
⚙️ How to Use the In-App Scanner
Open a job that requires a Wet Ink or Notary affidavit.
Tap the Upload Affidavit button at the bottom of the screen.
Select Scan Document when prompted.
Follow the on-screen instructions to scan each page (the required page count will be listed at the top).
Review your pages and submit once complete.
That’s it! The system will handle the rest — including rebuilding the affidavit with your attempt photos.

🚫 Important Notes
The exhibit photo exclusion only applies when using the In-App Scanner.
If you upload a PDF instead, you must still include exhibit photos.
🌟 Why It Matters
Previously, servers often relied on third-party scanning apps that produced low-quality or oversized PDFs, leading to slower submissions and more do-overs. The In-App Scanner streamlines the process and helps ensure faster, higher-quality results with fewer errors.

Font Size Control: Text resizing is now optimized to prevent layout issues and app usability problems.
GPS & Address Fixes: Improved attempt photo metadata collection.
Address Notes: Servers can now view notes related to the service address directly on the job — including any known gate codes or special instructions.
🚀 Coming Soon
Later this year, we’ll expand our ability to reconstruct affidavits with necessary photo exhibits to include uploaded PDF documents. We’ll also introduce options to print or download affidavits without exhibits, with reconstruction handled automatically.
