Updating your documents is quicker and more convenient than ever! At Proof, we understand how important it is to maintain accurate, current documentation—whether it’s your driver’s license or server IDs (such as certifications, licenses, and other professional credentials). With the launch of our new Persona Integration feature, updating your personal and professional documents is now streamlined and completely hassle-free.

Here are the Highlights

Automatic Document Updates
When you upload a new Server ID, such as a certification or a professional license, it will be automatically added to your existing documents on file. This ensures that your account reflects the most current versions of your credentials without eliminating other relevant documents or additional IDs.
Seamless Driver’s License Updates
Updating your driver’s license is just as easy. Whenever you upload a new license, it will automatically replace the previous one on record. This ensures that your credentials are always up to date with the latest information.

Keeping your credentials current is not only important for compliance and legal purposes but also for your peace of mind. With our new Persona Integration, the entire process is automated, meaning you don’t have to worry about forgetting to update your documents or dealing with the administrative headache of emailing us information.

How it Works

Accessing Self-Service Document Uploads

Use the following steps to navigate to the document upload screen and select the correct option.

Navigate to the Settings page as indicated below
Select either ‘Edit Driver’s License’ or ‘Edit Server ID’

Editing your Driver’s License

You’ll be prompted to take a photo of your Driver’s License and will be given the option to use the photo or retake to ensure your image is clear and readable.

Step-by-Step Guidance

Select “Begin Verifying” from the Getting Started page.
Confirm that you have a U.S. government-issued ID (this is the only option).
Take a photo of your ID and confirm the image.
Persona processes your ID for verification.
Receive a confirmation or retake prompt.
1. If your photo needs to be retaken, you’ll be notified.
2. Otherwise, you’ll see a confirmation screen from Persona and be redirected to the Proof app.
Proof reviews your submission.
1. This process may take up to two business days.
2. You’ll be notified if there are any issues with your license.

Editing Server IDs

This process will allow you to upload a single License, Certification, or ID. If you need to provide additional IDs, you can do so by re-entering the flow after submission.

Step-by-Step Guidance

Select “Begin Verifying” from the Getting Started page.
Enter your ID, Certification, or License details manually.
1. All fields are optional due to variations in documents. Enter only the relevant information.
2. If applicable, double-check for typos in the County of Registration field.
Upload a supporting document.
1. Take a photo or upload a file that matches the details entered.
Persona processes your document.
Receive a confirmation or resubmission prompt.
1. If successful, you’ll see a confirmation page and be redirected to the Proof app.
2. If there are issues reading your document, you’ll be prompted to resubmit it.
Proof reviews your submission.
1. This process may take up to two business days.
2. You’ll be notified if any issues arise with your license.
