If you have an active serve on the platform and need to request an update or provide additional details to the Proof Specialist or Process Server assigned to the serve, you can do this through the integrated Serve Chat! 🚀
The Chat feature is designed to provide real-time communication between you, the assigned Proof Specialist, and the Process Server managing your serve job. This integrated tool ensures you can get updates and provide additional information seamlessly throughout the process. 💬
The best part? When you receive a reply to your message, you'll be notified via email so you won't miss any important updates about your serve! 📧
The Serves Table
You can easily review all serves, including active ones and saved drafts. To start, after logging into the platform, look on the left-hand side for Serves under Workplace. Click on Serves to gain access to all of your services.
If you can't find a specific active serve job, you can use the search function or adjust any filters to ensure no jobs are being filtered out. You may also need to toggle My serves Only. Once you've located your active serve job, simply click on it to open it on the platform.

Now, let's get to the exciting part - the Serve Chat! 🎉 You can find it on the right-hand side of your screen once you've opened the specific serve. Here, you can view any messages from Proof and respond by typing in the chat box and clicking the white Send button ➤
When you send a message through the Serve Chat, both the Proof Specialist and the Process Server assigned to your job will receive a notification.
If applicable, you can click on the Past tab to see any previous conversations with this particular service.
To get a historical view of the chat, click on the History button near the top right of the chat box.
This can provide you with a great overview of everything that took place in the chat, including any situations where a new server may have been dispatched to the serve.
