If you've accepted a job but can no longer complete it — whether due to a mistake, a scheduling conflict, or other circumstances — you can request that the job be re-dispatched through the in-app job chat.

💬 Use In-Job Chat to Request a Re-Dispatch

Proof’s integrated job chat connects you directly with both:

  • The client, and

  • The assigned Proof Specialist

To request a re-dispatch:

  1. Open the Proof mobile app

  2. Tap into the relevant job

  3. Select the “Chat” tab on the right-hand side

  4. Send a message explaining why you’re unable to complete the job and that you’re requesting it be re-dispatched

📝 Please send your message promptly — especially if the serve window is approaching or already underway.

🔁 When to Request a Job Be Re-Dispatched

  • You accepted the job by mistake

  • You’re unable to attempt the serve within the required timeframe

  • You’ve encountered an issue that prevents you from completing the job

💵 Important: Payment Eligibility

Jobs that are re-dispatched after acceptance may not be eligible for payment — If you have questions about payment or your eligibility for compensation, please contact the assigned Proof Specialist directly. They can clarify next steps and provide guidance based on the job’s status.
