Proof is SOC 2 compliant and built to meet the security expectations of enterprise legal teams. We take data privacy seriously and follow strict internal protocols to ensure we only view what’s necessary to fulfill your serves.

We Only View What You Provide

When integrated with platforms like Clio, Filevine, MyCase, or Litify:

  • Proof only views the documents and details you choose to provide when creating a serve.

  • File pickers may display your document library for convenience, but we don’t view or retain anything unless you select and submit it.

  • Our team does not browse your matters, analyze your files, or interact with anything outside of the serve you’ve initiated.

In short: you control what we see.

Enterprise-Grade Security by Default

Our systems are designed with privacy in mind:

  • All document activity is logged and permissioned

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest

  • Our SOC 2 compliance confirms that we follow independently audited security practices
